A lot has been written about Iceland’s beauty, the vast, beautiful and dramatic landscapes, the highlands and the sheep, the old farmhouses and the fishing villages, as well as its ever-changing weather, the colours and the wind. It is all true, and it is more beautiful than I could describe. We travelled by jeep through white nights and got to see places, that were not overpopulated by tourists. For memory’s sake, I still carry around a little stone and a strand of wool in my pocket.
